Bruce-Sean Reshen

An accomplished real estate and financial executive, Mr. Reshen received national attention when he led the acquisition and redevelopment of 30 contaminated sites … by far the largest and most successful effort of its kind. Of special interest is the fact that these deals included the acquisition & securitization of the first institutionally owned portfolio of environmentally impaired properties. His experience with these impaired properties clearly demonstrated to him the need for the creation of The Guardian Trust™.

Mr. Reshen has previously served as a COO & CFO at one of the world’s largest real estate opportunity funds, the CEO of a national real estate development and construction management firm, and the CFO of a major developer, owner/manager of real estate and hospitality industry assets throughout America.

A noted author and public speaker, Mr. Reshen has published numerous articles and has lectured extensively on brownfields development and the management of environmental liabilities.

Robert Kinsey

Mr. Kinsey brings his many years of financial, accounting and management consulting experience along with his entrepreneurial skills honed as founder and CEO of his own certified public accounting and consulting firm. While broadly based, his firm specialized in providing financial and operational management consulting services for public and private companies in the real estate industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kinsey has been actively involved in real estate acquisitions due diligence and has assisted in the implementation of management and reporting systems for private equity funds and public REITs ranging in value from $300 million to $1.2 billion; as well as conducted property performance and operational reviews in connection with market repositioning and financing. He has served as a federal court appointed receiver responsible for the management of distressed properties.

Mr. Kinsey is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has served on numerous committees and lectured extensively on real estate and taxation issues.

Peter W. Zimmermann

As lead environmental risk management advisor, Mr. Zimmermann is responsible for managing and coordinating all environmental engineering work and related technical services. Mr. Zimmermann is a hydrogeologist with over 23 years of experience in environmental risk management. His practice has focused on assessing and forecasting risks stemming from environmental and physical impairment of property, providing integrated planning services and devising redevelopment solutions.

Mr. Zimmermann serves as Project Director and New York City Practice Head of Environmental Liability Management, Inc., an environmental risk management firm specializing in the management of complex environmental issues and the development of innovative redevelopment solutions. In this role, he has been the technical and project management lead on multiple environmental matters nationwide, and is currently representing the development community as the lead environmental risk management consultant on a number of major brownfield redevelopment projects.

Mr. Zimmermann was previously Vice President and Business Unit Manager for ICF Kaiser International, an international design, construction and consulting firm. Prior to that position, he was a principal geoscientist with McLaren/Hart Environmental Engineering, a national environmental consulting firm. Mr. Zimmermann’s clients have included the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Energy, Municipalities, multi-national corporations, private investor groups, utility companies, major real estate development and finance firms, and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Zimmermann has lectured and written various articles on contaminant fate & transport and design/performance testing for remediation systems.

Kathy Chapman

As Chief Operating Officer Ms. Chapman is responsible for coordinating MGP transactions as well as day-to-day company operations. She is also responsible for the oversight of systems design and implementation.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Chapman was a Director in the Product Control and Financial Control departments at Credit Suisse First Boston. Most recently, she was responsible for managing the business functions and administration of the global projects team (Strategic Change Management) within the Financial Control department. Previously she initiated the management of the global business impacts of the firm’s conversion from Swiss GAAP to US GAAP. Prior to this she was the Chief Operating Officer and Regional Coordinator in the Product Control group, responsible for the administration of a 200 person department. She also managed the Product Control team responsible for monitoring the firm’s real estate portfolio.

Previously Ms. Chapman was a Manager in the real estate services practice of Deloitte & Touche, where she was responsible for all aspects of project management, including planning and design, financial analysis and staff supervision. She was also a Senior Consultant in the real estate valuation group at Price Waterhouse, where she specialized in bulk sale transactions, securitizations and reorganization strategies.

Ms. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purchase College and a Masters of Science in real estate valuation from New York University. She is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI & SRA designations).
